How Do Retainers Work?
Once your orthodontics are removed from your teeth, you can start your retainer process. We will take an impression of your mouth and send it off to a dental laboratory. Once your retainer is returned roughly 1 – 2 weeks later, we will schedule an office visit. During this appointment, one of our dentists will ensure your retainer fits comfortably before you leave. We will also educate you on how often to wear your retainer and how to wash and store your device.
