You wear each set of aligners for about one to two weeks before transitioning to the next, and throughout the process your smile is moving closer to the outcome we planned together at the start.

Because the aligners are removable, you take them out for meals and for brushing and flossing, which means there are no dietary restrictions and maintaining excellent oral hygiene is straightforward. The clear material makes them virtually invisible when worn, so most people will never even notice you are undergoing orthodontic treatment. SureSmile® is suitable for a wide range of cases from mild to moderate complexity, and we will evaluate your smile during a consultation to determine whether it is the right fit for your goals.

Your SureSmile® journey at Creating Beautiful Smiles begins with a comprehensive consultation and digital records appointment. Your provider will take precise digital scans of your teeth, which are used to create a detailed 3D model of your smile. Using this model, we plan the full sequence of tooth movements from your current smile to your finished result, and you will have the opportunity to see a preview of what your outcome can look like before treatment even begins.

Your custom aligners are then fabricated and delivered to you in sets. You wear them for 20 to 22 hours per day for best results, removing them only to eat, drink anything other than water, and to brush and floss. Periodic check-in appointments allow us to monitor your progress, address any questions, and ensure your treatment is staying on track. These visits are typically shorter than traditional orthodontic adjustment appointments.

When you have completed your final set of aligners, we will make sure your teeth have reached their intended positions and move into the retention phase of your treatment. Custom retainers are fabricated to hold your new smile in place, and we will guide you on how to wear them to protect your results for the long term.
