Once your aligners are ready, your provider will walk you through how to insert and remove them, how to care for them, and what to expect as you progress through your trays. Wearing your aligners for the recommended 20 to 22 hours per day is essential for keeping your treatment on schedule. Removing them for meals, beverages other than water, and for brushing and flossing keeps them clean and protects your teeth throughout the process.
