How Do Porcelain Braces Work?
Following your consultation, an individualized treatment plan will be created by one of our dentists for your specific needs. When you return to have your braces put on, your teeth will be properly prepped and cleaned before placing your porcelain brackets. Once we have brushed the bonding agent to your teeth, your ceramic mounts will be placed. Once all the mounts are done, Dr. Palmer or Dr. Smalkoski will thread the wire through them. In some cases, the wires can also be tooth-colored. The application process generally happens quickly, and patients often experience no discomfort. You should expect to return to Creating Beautiful Smiles around once a month for adjustments and progress checks.
